I have to use the thicker pad, but then there's light leakage even with the provided 'fillets', which seem precariously loose. It's just not comfortable - the headband strap has to be so tight to minimize light leakage, which means even the thicker pad doesn't prevent feeling the plastic parts from cutting into your face. Very disappointed. I had to switch back to the original Pico facial interface - it's not great but works better than the GeekVR interface. I want a refund.

Ich habe heute mein GeekVR Cover-Set erhalten. Leider mit gemischten Erfahrungen bei der Anwendung. Positiv: Das FOV ist etwas größer, was klar war und die Polsterung schön weich. Das war es aber auch schon mit dem " Positiven Erfahrungen " Negativ: Die beiden Einsätze halten nicht so gut magnetisch wie das Originale von Pico ! Man braucht nur die Brille abzulegen und die Face-Cover fangen sich an zu lösen von der Pico-4. Die Magneten sind zu schwach ! Weitere Nachteile/Unzulänglichkeiten - läßt man den Kopfstrip der Pico dran gehen erstens beide Face-Cover von GeekVR nur schwer dran so das man schon drücken muß, das diese auch exakt an der Brille anliegen - UND - noch schlimmer zieht man den Kopfstrip der Pico an drückt das Strip die Cover von der Pico weg ! Entfernt man den Strip geht das zwar - aber die Cover drücken dermaßen auf der Nase das es weh tut. Dieses Problem behebt das Kopf-Halo von GeekVR, welches die Brille leicht anhebt und der Nasendruck weg ist. Weiteres Problem mit dem Halo klappt man die Seiten der Pico zum Aufsetzen hoch und dann runter drücken die Seiten rechts und links der Pico auf das Halo und damit die Cover aus der ohnehin schon schwachen magnetischen Halterung - unzumutbar ! Hat man es dann geschafft die Pico endlich mit etwas hin und her ruckeln auf den Kopf zu bringen - funktioniert es auch. Aber diese Mängel sind einfach nicht akzeptabel und kommen mir wie im "Beta-Stadium" ( besser Alpha ) dieses Sets vor. Ohne dem mitgeliefertem Kopf-Halo ist das Set ein Schmerz-Graus aufgrund des Nasendrucks. Würd ich mir nicht wieder kaufen - ich weiß nicht wie die Tester z.B. bei MRTV zu so einer positiven Bewertung kommen. Mein Fazit und Warnung - leider - Hände weg !!

I received my GeekVR cover set today. Unfortunately with mixed experiences in the application. Pros: The FOV is slightly larger, which was clear and the padding is nice and soft. But that was it with the "positive experiences" Negative: The two inserts don't hold as well magnetically as the original from Pico! All you have to do is take off your glasses and the face covers will start to detach from the Pico-4. The magnets are too weak! Other disadvantages/shortcomings - if you let the Pico's head strip go on, first of all, both GeekVR face covers are difficult to put on so that you have to press them so that they fit exactly on the glasses - AND - even worse, you pull the Pico's head strip on the strip pushes the covers away from the pico! If you remove the strip, that works - but the cover presses on your nose so much that it hurts. This issue fixes GeekVR's head halo, which raises the glasses slightly and nose pressure is gone. Another problem with the halo is that you fold up the sides of the pico to put it on and then press down the sides on the right and left of the pico onto the halo and thus the cover from the already weak magnetic holder - unreasonable! If you finally managed to get the pico upside down with a little jerking back and forth - it works too. But these shortcomings are simply unacceptable and seem to me like the "beta stage" (better alpha) of this set. Without the included head halo, the set is a pain dread due to nose pressure. I wouldn't buy it again - I don't know how the testers, e.g. at MRTV, got such a positive rating. My conclusion and warning - unfortunately - hands off!

Arrived quickly and exactly as ordered, even got a discount with a youtube code I found. Fits the Pico 4 headset perfectly making the OEM strap redundant so it can be removed. Additional pads allow blocking of any light that leaks in around the facial pad. The rubber nose piece is a bit loose and fiddly to fit but it does fit and work. The facial pad is also softer and thinner than the original provided by the manufacturer. Overall the accessory is a bit pricey maybe but to be fair this is a niche product and is aimed at the VR enthusiast, and its not mass produced, it is made to order.

Not worth it at all.

the price needs to go way down

Padding needs to be completely changed again for light leakage. Even with the added pads there was light leakage on both the thick and thin padding.

Different materials should be used on padding as the padding is very sticky and it’s still not comfortable.

Needs a lot of work to even come close to the price they charge. Based on my experience I would only give it £15 just because it has a nice fov but other than that its not good at all.
